This 36" Mash Paddle is hand crafted in the USA by a local New Jersey Artisan. Carved from locally sourced Northeastern Rock Hard Maple this paddle is intentionally left unfinished to keep solvents and chemicals away from your beer and is carved from a single piece of wood instead of multiple parts glued together like some of the lower quality wooden mash paddles. The paddle head is designed with four large holes and measures 3" wide. Our mash paddle is designed to be ideal for breaking up stubborn dough balls and stirring heavy mash concentrations. Will work well with multiple sizes of Mash Tuns from 5 Gallon Coolers to 40 Gallon kettles. After care is as simple is a clean water rinse after mashing and allowing the paddle to air dry.

Wooden Mash paddles are an excellent choice for the discerning homebrewer as they will not scratch plastic Mash Tuns like stainless paddles and will not bend or break like plastic paddles.
