Brewing with nuts can be challenging if done incorrectly, be aware that the fatty oils can kill your beers head retention. If you're up to the challenge roast 2# Pecans 3-4 times at 325F for 15 mins. Let cool in paper bag between each time. Add Pecans to either your mash or age your Brown Ale on them during Secondary Fermentation!
Brown Ales are the ideal beer to pair with hard and aged cheeses such as Gouda, aged cheddar, or even more mild options like Blue Cheese. Setup a platter and a pint of our Southern English Brown and enjoy food & beer bliss!
